Graduate Walk

The Walk celebrates the success of JCU graduates. In recognition of a donation in the name of a Graduate,  pavers, created from local Chillagoe marble, on which the names of  the graduate has been engraved, will line the pathways through the heart of each of the Townsville and Cairns campuses. Peter Arnold Memorial Fund (for Dolphin Research)

March 7 marks the anniversary of the death of Peter Arnold in 2006.  This memorial fund was set up by his friends and family and  will be used to support inshore dolphin research along the Queensland and Northern Territory coasts,  with a particular focus on projects that will contribute to an assessment of the status of the Australian snubfin dolphin. Ross Spark Memorial Fund

Professor Ross Spark, Head of the School of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences, died suddenly on 28 January 2013.  He had spent most of his working career in health promotion and public health in northrn Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region.   This Fund will support an indigenous public health scholarship with the School of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences.  DONATE HERE

Julia Cooper Memorial Wildlife Research Bursary

The Bursary was established in 2012 by Dr Martin Cohen and Tim Parker, remaining directors of Wild About The Tropics, in memory of their third director, Julia Cooper who passed away in 2011 aged 33. Read more about this bursary. If you would like to donate to this fund DONATE HERE

Lindner Scholarship Fund
